My head is filled with random facts of God knows what. People always seemed amazed by the pointless knowledge so I started putting them down on my facebook on Fridays. Then I decided why not have somewhere to post them for others to share and see on days besides Fridays.

If you are walking along the beach and come across a strange smelly, waxy, blob make sure that you grab it and bring it home. It is known as "Ambergris" and is produced in the Sperm Whale gastrointestinal tract. It is valued at $20 per gram and used in perfumes. A good sized chunk can be worth up to $1,000,000.

But how do you KNOW if it's ambergris, and not just puke from a hobo?
ReplyDeleteyou have to perform a taste test.... if it tastes like squid then its ambergris... if it tastes like canned sardines & Old English Malt Liquor then its HOBO
